Imagine this. It’s the first day first show of one of the most awaited movie of the year and despite the fact that tickets are easily available, you don’t want to see the film. The reason being that you not only know the story of the film but almost every scene that the movie has to offer.
There is a growing feeling among the producers that in their enthusiasm to write on these social networking sites, some stars are revealing some facts, which may not help the film at the box office.
Keeping this in mind, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has asked the lead pair of his upcoming film Anjaana Anjaani, Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor not to write anything about the film on any of the social networking sites.
Nadiadwala said he himself has logged onto some of these the social networking site and has seen a lot of comments and other information about his film on these sites, most of which are untrue. He hopes that with the lead pair not writing about the film, at least some wrong information about the film will be prevented from spreading.
Though Nadiadwala may be the first one to ban a star working in his film from writing about the film on Social Networking Sites like Twitter and Facebook, keeping in mind the risk such sites pose with regard to revealing the secret facts associated with the films, many more makers may follow Nadiadwala and ask the stars not to write about their films at these social networking sites.
