Perhaps, the film ‘Sivi’ hadn’t received more laurels at that point of time, but now the Hindi remake has gradually peaked with some laudable credits in box office. Sangeeth Sivan has wielded megaphone for this horror flick that features famous actor Shreyas Talpade in lead along with South Indian actresses Sadha and Sneha Ullal starring opposite him in female lead.
The Tamil version had veteran ace actor ‘Thengai’ Srinivasan’s grandson Yogi in lead with debutants Jayashree Rao and Anuja Iyer of ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ fame in female lead. Though, the film was received with good welcome, it didn’t come up with better results amongst universal audiences.
It’s worth mentioning that ‘Sivi’ itself is a remake of Thai film ‘Shutter’ that was later remade in Hollywood with the same title.
