Vijay’s new film goes to the floors on April 1 with Asin

 Vijay’s new film goes to the floors on April 1. The movie, a remake of Malayalam hit movie Bodyguard, will have Bollywood return Asin as the lead lady. The first schedule of this untitled film directed by Siddique starts in Chennai.

Siddique, who directed the original, has made some minor changes in the Tamil version to suit Vijay’s image.

Dileep and Nayanthara was the lead pair in the Malayalam original. Thyagarajan did a pivotal role, which has been filled by Raj Kiran in Tamil.

Vidyasagar will score the music while Ekambaram, who is involved in Vijay’s Sura, will handle the camera. Vadivelu will be the comedian.
